KIDS WATCHES

RONDA SWISS MOVEMENTS

ALL Olympic watches feature Ronda Swiss designed movements. Ronda has played a pioneering role in the watch market since being founded by William Masset in 1946. Ronda's core competence is the production and assembly of micro-technical components. Inspired minds pool their creativity to develop innovative products.

The Workwatch series was designed specifically to meet the needs of the hard working man, no compromise was given in it’s design. To survive the conditions it would be subjected to it would need a long list of quality features… full stainless steel case and bracelet, extra thick mineral glass, a safety-locking clasp, luminous hands, reliable Swiss movement, and a 100 metres water resistant case - it's got them all! A key feature of the Workwatch is the “triple o-ring crown” which in it’s design keeps the watch fully sealed from the elements even if the crown is left out (not against the case).

WATER RESISTANCE

If your watch is water-resistant the words “water-resistant” will be engraved on the case back. Levels of water-resistance are 30m (30 metres or 3ATM), 50m, 100m, 200m, 300m. Unless engraved “water-resistant” on the back of the watch the watch will be a type “D” Dress watch and therefore not water-resistant. 10ATM/100 METRES: Suitable for recreational surfing, snorkeling and water sports. NOT for diving. 20ATM/200 METRES: Suitable for professional marine activity, serious surface water sports and diving.

QUICK F.A.Q. GUIDE

3ATM/30 METRES: Suitable for everyday use. Splash/rain resistant.NOT for swimming.
5ATM/50 METRES: Suitable for water related work, recreational swimming and fishing. NOT for diving.
10ATM/100 METRES: Suitable for recreational surfing, snorkeling and water sports. NOT for diving.
20ATM/200 METRES: Suitable for professional marine activity, serious surface water sports and diving.

CAUTION. Watches should not be worn in hot or warm water or around solvents otherwise the seals will deteriorate rendering the case no longer water-resistant. Extreme changes of temperature should beavoided as this may result in condensation.
A watch may no longer be water-resistant if the case back is removed and not re-sealed correctly, if the glass is cracked or chipped or if the crown is left open or unscrewed. It is important to have the watch water tested after a battery change.

Olympic Watches all have a 2 year comprehensive manufacturers warranty. This covers manufacturing faults. Wear and tear or customer damage are not covered by the warranty. Please refer to the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Olympic watches use Ronda Swiss designed movements which have an average battery life of 4 years - If your watch has a date feature the battery will usually die while trying to change the date at around midnight. When the battery is changed the watch should be water tested to it's depth rating, as marked on the case. The seals should also be checked for deterioration/wear and replaced if necessary.
